Apple Mail — how to paste it
Mail → Settings → Signatures.
Pick your email account on the left, then click + to add a signature.
Uncheck “Always match my default message font.” Skip this and Mail strips
the formatting and the signature comes out as plain text.
Select the placeholder text in the signature box and paste with ⌘V.
The mark will look like a blank or broken box inside Settings. That's normal
and not a mistake — Apple Mail doesn't load remote images in the Settings preview. Send
yourself a test email and it appears properly there.
Outlook — how to paste it
Outlook on the web: Settings → Mail → Compose and reply → Email signature.
Paste with ⌘V / Ctrl+V.
Outlook for Mac: Outlook → Settings → Signatures → +, then paste.
Outlook for Windows: File → Options → Mail → Signatures → New, then paste.
If pasting drops the formatting, use Copy HTML code instead and paste that
into whichever signature editor accepts HTML source.
Something looks wrong
Mark doesn't appear in received mail — some clients block remote images
until the reader clicks “show images.” Everything else in the signature is real text, so it
still reads fine without it.
Spacing looks off in Outlook on Windows — Outlook uses Word to render mail
and ignores some spacing. It's cosmetic; the content is intact.
Copied from a file instead of the web page — the mark won't load. Always
copy from the hosted page so the image URL is a real web address.
